Haus der jungen Produzenten (‘Young Producers’ House’)
Das Haus der jungen Produzenten
‘The Young Producers’ House’ is a Studio Hamburg initiative for the up-and-coming generation. Young founders of company start-ups profit from the professional know-how and close vicinity to Germany’s leading production and service centre for film and television.
Studio Hamburg has awarded scholarships to the Young Producers’ House since 2008. Together with MA HSH, the Media Institute for Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein and the Media Foundation for Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, Studio Hamburg paves a promising path for the future success of young, talented producers. The project is additionally supported by GWFF, a German copyright collection society, and Digitas, an agency for digital marketing and media.
The 18-month scholarships range from providing an infrastructure, in other words space and office furnishings in the Trebitsch Villa on the Studio Hamburg lot, to advisory consulting and support with respect to exploitation, syndication and distribution, legal and financial counsel, all the way to providing production capacities at special terms & conditions.
Young founders of company start-ups who want to develop and produce innovative, high-quality audiovisual content in the field of feature-length films for the cinema, made-for-TV films, series formats, commercials or new media content can apply. A convincing concept is the decisive factor. Applicants may not be older than 35.
