South Sudan - Planning of a television and radio broadcast centre in Juba

In 2009 Studio Hamburg Media Consult International (MCI) GmbH was charged by the Government of Southern Sudan to plan a television and radio broadcast centre in Juba.

The aim of the project was to build a television and radio broadcast centre in Juba for Southern Sudan’s own national programme. This programme is distributed across the country by means of satellite; regional studios in important provincial cities augment the national programme with local content.

The customer (Government of Southern Sudan, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) required the services of competent consultants for the realisation of this project. MCI has this experience and many references in all the necessary disciplines (national networked satellite systems and production centres for television and radio). MCI advised the customer, defined the requirements for the technical implementation and finally oversee the construction phase.
