AIDAluna
The Studio Hamburg workshops provided stage elements for the show programme "Somnambul" on the AIDAluna, the sixth cruise ship of the AIDA fleet.
Amongst other things, they created a round platform and an oversized coronet. The two-part quilted round platform has a diameter of two metres and is covered with a dance floor. The coronet is made out of laser-cut steel, 2.80m high, 3.50m wide and covered with mica for effective reflexes in the show light.
In addition, the workshops produced a canopy, a ballerina pedestal and a shelf for a children's room decoration as well as diverse prints for the pool deck for the show programme. All the trades of the workshops were involved in the realisation of the design provided by Wieder Design München.
The stage elements celebrated their premiere in the three-storey glazed Theatrium on the maiden voyage in March. AIDAluna will be travelling for several months with the show "Somnambul".
